our roadtrip through south korea was a success. there were a few minor snags in navigation, but korea and its lack of signs didn't foil our adventures. we had our daewoo winstorm to get us through it all. it felt a little funny at first to be behind a wheel again, but it reminded me of how much i love to drive and how much i miss my chitty-chitty-bang-bang. the late night drives through korea's countryside made me think a lot about our late night drives to and from spring green. and even though it was so good to be out of seoul seeing new things, a big part of me wished i was in spring green, even if it was only for five days.

(way passed ear muff season, but i brought them in case the nights got cold. they came in handy for the car rides when the air conditioner was on full blast. man, what would i do without those muffs?....or my brown boots? i'd be real cold, that's for sure.)
