everyday since moving in, i've spent a lot of time looking at the national geographic pictures that cover our walls...after a long day of teaching kids, when i wake up, sometimes that's just what i do...stare at walls. these are some of my current favorites.

what i love most about korea:

heated floors. 

this box of nobs and buttons on our wall is a godsent. and everyone in korea has it. even as it's starting to get a bit warmer here, i like to give my toes a smidge of warmth in the morning. just a smidge.

taegyu turned 3 years old (korean age) or 2 years old (american age). he's always showing off his dimples and talking away with his little man voice. 

it's feels so good to see my yeondeunpo como as a grandmother. all throughout the day, taegyu held onto a picture of my aunt when she was younger.
