arrow had a good visit to the dentist. yay!

an afternoon in hyehwa.

seeing arrow just sitting there made me realize...my baby is no longer a baby.

but then... 

after eating yogurt, i realize...he still needs me.

walking around the house with (1) an umbrella and (2) without a diaper.

where there is construction, there is my son.

he wanted to get closer to the action.

...but realized quickly he wasn't going to win this fight.

thankfully, we spotted some friends: heonjae & heongyu!

we hadn't seen them since november.

heonjae is 2 months older than arrow and quite the character.

he kept snagging arrow's water.

but was kind enough to, not only give it back, but help arrow drink some.

arrow was so happy to see heongyu. 

it seemed like every time i looked at them, they were laughing together.

they shared a snack with arrow.
붕어빵, basically a waffle the shape of a fish filled with red bean paste.
warm & crispy. and as you can tell from arrow's face: oh so good.

we ended the day at the preschool. but once all the boys got wet, sandy and cold, it was time to say good-bye. but hopefully we'll be hanging with them again soon.

we found the monkey hat susan got him the first year she was in korea.

we've been going on family runs. 

compared to the girls we've been seeing running in jeans, we're all set! 

zachary's red knee high socks: hott!

he continues to take the necessary precautions on the subway.

went to the bookstore.

arrow got a new richard scarry book, "the best word book ever" and i'd have to agree. thanks to the two richard scarry books arrow got for christmas from don & susan, arrow is hooked. every morning, these are his go-to books.

we had dinner at trevia (in our old stomping ground!)

we're relieved every time a restaurant has a high chair. and so, we were that much more thankful for the kid-friendly environment trevia provided.

afterwards, we stopped by the teahouse to say hello to saewon.

it was so good to catch up with saewon. 

we even google-chatted with david! 

man oh man, it made me miss thee old neighbors.
