it was a nice day outside with a bunch of kids & their moms. but the more i hang out with them, the more i realize:

while arrow was downing a cold carton of milk, i told him i had a surprise for him.

he said, "truck." 

he was right.

even though he knew what to expect, he still was incredibly excited.

it's blurry, but i love that face!

he got even more excited once it was out of the box.

 so excited that he felt compelled to sing into the box.

chewbacca flying spiderman's plane. 

the first gift arrow opened on christmas was chewbacca. it was gift from his uncle isaac. as soon as arrow unwrapped it, he freaked out and wouldn't touch it because, for a split second, he thought ike had wrapped up a real dog. 

arrow and chewbacca have put the past aside and have built a strong friendship. if anything, it's me who's a little freaked out by chewy, but only when i find him in strange places like the bathroom or in a low kitchen cabinet.
