my aunt from chicago visited korea! the last time she was here was, i think, 12 or 13 years ago. so her visit was a big deal for the family.
taking a picture of all the boys together wasn't easy.
jaewon loved building towers and train tunnels with zachary.
...while arrow climbed around like godzilla.

as the ramyun boxes started stacking up and our apartment got more and more empty, it was clear that we were moving, whether i was ready or not.
those days were a complete blur. i couldn't think. just had to go go go. and thanks to our good good friends (dawn, saewon, young-joo, tiffany and erik), and a hilarious ajusshi-moving-duo, our apartment was packed up, loaded onto two trucks and ready to go!
and zachary...he was a moving superstar. i'd still be sitting in an apartment full of ramyun boxes if it weren't for him.

{saying good-bye to peter}
we get back to seoul only to have to say good-bye to pete. rats! it's been a lot of fun having him here these past months. man oh man, sure gonna miss our tuesday/thursday dinners, waking up saturday mornings and seeing him laying on our futon, hair completely disheveled, already on his ipad; but most of all, the crazy interactions between him and arrow. his rendition of "rockabye baby" is frightening.
to the man who loves creighton fraker more than he's ready to admit, we miss you! arrow has no one to bully now that you're gone. well, that's not true. he's still a bully. but you were his favorite target.
days leading up to pete's departure, we ate. and ate. and ate. kyle wasn't prepared for the spiciness in his bloody maria.
pete doing it right. kimchi fries and a margarita. cheers!
a day beautiful enough to enjoy the han. the grass may have been dry, poky and itchy, but arrow didn't care. he was ready to graze.
arrow getting advice from his uncle.
the cutest cloud puff.
arrow pretending he's listening to pete's story, but really thinking about whether or not the dry grass in his mouth is in fact edible.
bulldozing for his pop's sunglasses.
success!
bulldozing some more.
too much soju. had to cut him off.
and he's off.
our farewell lunch: bossam (steamed pork).
only the best for uncle pete.
and the final "rockabye baby" that we're all frightened by.
